Karoll is the number one financial intermediary with the highest turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in September. Karoll’s transactions for the month amounted to BGN 12.70 mln, representing 12.93% of the total turnover on the regulated market for September. Furthermore, in September Karoll executed the highest number of transactions on BSE totalling 4 400 trades which equals to a market share of 25.50%.
The first 9 months of the year were dynamic for the Bulgarian stock exchange. Investors were quite active, reshuffling their portfolios. Consequently, the number of trades executed on the exchange increased as well as traded volume. Total turnover on the regulated market for January – September jumped by 126% y-o-y reaching BGN 496 mln. The main index on BSE, SOFIX, has added 17.4% to its value since the beginning of 2017.
Karoll continued to be the brokerage house with the highest number of trades executed on BSE. The number of trades made by its clients for the first 9 months of the year jumped by 90% y-o-y to BGN 38 500, representing a market share of 30.41%. Consequently, the turnover of Karoll tripled to BGN 71 mln compared to the same period of 2016.
